About The Position
We are looking for a DevOps Tech Lead to manage and operate our production environment who is an expert in cloud technologies to help us create a well-tuned environment using a microservice architecture in kubernetes (k8s). You will be working in a small, high efﬁciency team to build a product relationship and information management platform. This is a very fast-paced role and we need energetic individuals that can work independently to build components for a large scale system. This is a great career opportunity to join a DevOps team of one of the world's most prestigious brain research company and get your hands dirty in all aspects of Configuration Management, Monitoring, Cloud Services, Big Data and Web development.
Learn, implement or adapt new technologies to help our team with deployment and maintenance activities.
Developing next generation cloud management systems with cutting edge technologies.
Identify scaling and efficiency issues with our current environments and recommend solutions for increased reliability and performance.
Deliver continued support, reliability and guaranteed uptime for our products, developers and customers.
DevOps experience (at least 3 years).
High self-learning ability.
Ability to work in a multi-tasking operation.
A strong technical foundation in build, release and environments (Public/Private clouds, Hybrid environments).
An eagerness to learn about whatever tools or tricks are needed to get the job done, passion for open-source technologies and tools.
Experience in python and bash programming.
Strong experience in working in Linux environments.
Experience in working with mixed Windows Server & Linux environments.
Experience in working in CI/CD environment (Git, Jenkins, Repositories, Docker)
Proven security and networking experience (load balancers, DNS, CDN, firewalls, VPNs, etc…).
A Team player with a ‘yes’ attitude and a smile.
First degree in Computer science or equivalent.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge and experience in monitoring/logging systems (grafana, prometheus, ELK)
Knowledge and experience in Configuration Management Automation tools (Asnible/SaltStack)
Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud providers (AWS, VMWare)
Grid operating systems (Kubernetes, Swarm, Mesos)
